GIF Practice

A practice of different styles and techniques of creating GIFs using both Illustrator and Photoshop.

This one is very simple a was simply a practice of fading in and out, as well as looping a GIF with sub loops.

This one was incredibly hard to loop, with a hitch still remaining in the final gif. I have since learnt a different technique of rotating in illustrator using measurements rather than by eye.

ballbouncing.gif

This one was inspired by screen-savers, it was fun to try create a realistic path for the ball to ‘bounce’ along as well as taking the acceleration and deceleration of an impact into account.

This one is because I was told it was tricky, which it was at there had to be many steps to create a smooth non-jerky movement. While the final effect is very effective and eye catching it just plain freaks me out.
